Pure Sibling Love

These moments are my absolute Favorite moments to capture. And the moments I will cherish Forever. Please excuse the PJ's but we were having a joyous lazy morning. Matthew dotes on his sister like nothing else. He went and brought out her box of "pretties" and started doing her hair. If you know Abby, you know how much she Loves wearing pretty things. One of her favorite things to do in the morning is to watch Mommy putting on my makeup. So, she was very happy to let him play with her hair. I love Matthew's expression in the last image. He was so proud of his "work" but he didn't want to be in the picture. He really looks happy.

Here's another one of Hannah. She's 4 months old now and I absolutely LOVE the way her eyes sparkle. She's a petite little girl for 4 months, but she's really a beauty. I have more images of the girls because they are home with me during the day. I'll have to see if Matthew will help me out and let me get a couple of him.

Abigail had her first haircut at 2.5 years old.  She sat so well for my friend who did her hair. I'm so glad to have caught this time with her on camera.

Our backyard yesterday morning. Ice crystals had formed on everything. Someone explained to me that it happens at night when it's cold and the objects are colder than the air. The effect is beautiful.

Hannah Three Months

I cannot say enough how fun it was to do a shoot with Miss Harper!  Not only is she completely dear to my heart, but she's so full of energy and smiles.  I had such a great time chasing her around with her family to get these moments.

Hannah's Christmas Baptism

This year Christmas landed on a Sunday. We have always baptized our children in Michigan because all of our family live there, or near there. We were so blessed to have Hannah baptized on Christmas day at Jason's family Church. We were married in that Church and Jason was baptized there.  Uncle Dan is pictured in the top right getting some smiles from his niece.

It was a chilly fall afternoon with a pretty cold breeze.  Smiles were hard to come by.  But I did end up catching an intimate sibling moment.  It really captures how big sister and big brother have embraced their little sister.

Brother is being a boy and blowing bubbles in Sister's direction, but she doesn't even notice. She's too busy in her own girly world.

Hospital- Getting Personal

When Hannah was 6 weeks old she got very sick.  Up until now I have not shared these images as they are so personal to me.  The top left is a view of her in the hospital crib all hooked up to her IV.  I kept her arm out of focus because I wanted to keep that as a part of her past.  The top right is the picture Matthew drew for me because he could tell I was missing him and wanted to bring Hannah home.  The picture on the left is our house.  The picture on the right is me holding Hannah with Matthew.  The bottom left is Hannah resting peacefully.  The bottom right is my husband, Jason.  The look on his face perfectly symbolizes the emotion we were feeling, worrying about our baby.
